55 comes from my favorite litter of reds to ever be born in Chalmers. He had 8 sisters and 1 brother. The dam is starting out well in her career as well. Her first litter last March she raised the gilt Emma Garland showed at NAILE that was champion and third overall. Second litter was the Grand Male pig in the sift at Duncan last fall. This is her third litter with a bunch of competitive gilts that their targets are state fairs. 45-7 the dam has raised at least 9 fat ones in each litter so far. 55 himself has good toes, big legs, sound with look and muscle. The best boars we have been around have always had elite mommas, 55 has a chance and will get used here in Chalmers. CKD
